Fulltime: 37hrs per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Forklist Telehandler to operate a forklift/telehandler safely and efficiently on a construction site, supporting the delivery of housing projects. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations in the absence of the Site Manager or Head of Construction, ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective running of the site, including coordinating contractors and operating plant or machinery as required.
  • Safely operate a telehandler/forklift to move, load, and unload materials around the site.
  • Support trades and site teams by ensuring timely delivery of materials to work areas.
  • Carry out daily equipment checks and report any defects or issues.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Educations and Qualifications:

  • CPCS or NPORS Telehandler/Forklift qualification (valid and in date).
  • Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).

Experience:

  • Previous experience operating a telehandler on a construction site.
  • Experience working on residential housing developments.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Good awareness of site health & safety requirements.
  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with the site team.

Personal Attributes:

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to assist with general site duties when not operating machinery.
